Garry J. Carlson is president and owner of Gradient Geothermal Inc. The company evolved from 20 years of exploration in active and fossil hot springs throughout the western US, Mexico and South America. He started this new geothermal company behind a wealth of national and international geologic, business and technical experience. The business and technical experience is a result of working in natural resource exploration for over 25 years based out of Missoula, Montana, USA.
As president and sole owner of Gradient Geophysics, Inc., Garry started a company in the 1980s that evolved into a highly successful geophysical consulting and contracting firm. During that time he's been responsible for the operations, logistics, contracts, including design, implementation, and interpretation for geophysical projects in North and South America. He's been directly responsible for over 550 projects. Responsibilities included directing geophysical surveys for major, mid-tier, and junior mining companies and environmental companies throughout the Americas. This entailed initiating contacts with clients, planning logistics, organizing and directing crews, as well as compiling and interpreting geophysical and geological data and writing reports.
Garry has an extensive background in geology and geophysics. His expertise in geothermal and mineral exploration encompasses geology, geophysics, computer services (GIS) and computer modeling.
